Tacubaya is the sister restaurant to the acclaimed Doña Tomás in Oakland. Opened in July 2003, Tacubaya is a casual, yet upscale taqueria.
Tacubaya serves authentic Mexican cuisine using the quality and variety of fresh ingredients available in the Bay Area.
They prepare everything from scratch everyday, including handmade tortillas and complex traditional mole. We are committed to using meat, poultry, fish and produce grown sustainably and organically whenever possible. We serve handmade aguas frescas, Mexican sodas, beer and wine.
In the wonderful weather that is the hallmark of the Bay Area 9 months out of the year - you will enjoy ordering your food and eatting outside... watching all the shoppers go by. If you order at the counter, they will come out side and bring your order to you.
